Shantal Long is Executive Director and founder of Elite Children Learning Center. She has been advocate educator and mentor for the last 12 years. Currently Elite Children Learning Center has Two established facilities and in the process of opening their market to franchising. Shantal Long has always known the true definition of hard work, which she always refers it to fun work. She worked her way up into a company with no experience, and just out of high school to becoming a well paid Doctor’s Assistant. This was a stepping stone, and the key that showed her to success. She learned the fundamental skills that later helped her formulate her own business practices.

At the age of 16, Shantal Long already been gifted with a wealthy mindset mentality. Shantal was gifted with a talent of financial suaveness.  She had mastered the key principals of saving and budgeting that came natural to her. Over the years Shantal has developed this talent and has transformed into a powerhouse.  She begin to work and save for her future ahead and she did not know what God had in store for her but Shantal KNEW it was something great. During her high school years she was a scholar Athlete and graduated with honors. During her first year in college at Georgia State University she became pregnant with her first love Bryan. She was not going to be considered a statistical African American pregnant teen.

She took what most would consider an obstacle and used it as a motivation to conquer the world with her drive and ambition to do Great things in life. Now knowing her main focus was to better Bryan's life. She went back to college to earn her business degree and begin to work her way up the ladder in the healthcare Industry. Not know God was preparing her for great things she continued to stay focused and soon found out her first mission in life was to start her own business.

Shantal knew that even though she had worked her way up into this company starting out at $9hr and within two years making $40k a year. She knew that in that field and with no degree in healthcare she was at her max salary and she wanted more for her and Bryan. Through her resilience and hard work it eventually paid off and in 2007 despite her naysayers she resigned to go off and start her own home daycare.

By the age of 23 Shantal had saved well over twenty thousand dollars. It was not long before she expanded her business and opened her first Childcare Learning Facility in May of 2008. Long invested well over $30k with no loans or investors. Bringing her to a place she had never been before BROKE.  The key was she still had the mental mind state of wealth.  This process did not shake her faith while she was determined to not just stop there.  By 2009, Shantal had partner with an established investor to open her second facility to do what others thought was impossible for her to accomplish.

Since then Long launched her non-profit organization Ladies First Class, geared towards empowering young ladies of today. Showing them that little "shannie" can become more than anyone every expected. “Someone just like you can become someone just like me".

She is currently working on a major writing project that gives you step by step the tools needed to change your life for the rest of your life.
